Besides Starbucks, the company - through other subsidiaries - is the operator of several iconic brands: Pizza Express, Krispy Kreme, Cold Stone Creamery, and Godiva.

Asman Abnur, Indonesian Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister, said a total of 654 foreign airplane pilots currently work in Indonesia. This is a relatively high figure compared to the 7,150 Indonesian pilots as it implies that 8.4 percent of all pilots in Indonesia are foreign. The use of foreign pilots is allowed by the Indonesian government since 2008.
Indonesian Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Muhammad Nasir said the government of Indonesia decided to open the opportunity for foreign, private universities - especially the world's leading universities - to open branches in Indonesia through cooperation with local private universities. By mid-2018 the first foreign university should be able to open its doors in Indonesia.
