Unemployment in Indonesia Declines to 5.70% of the Total Labor Force

However, the number of Indonesians working less than normal working hours is high at 37.0 million people (out a total of 125.3 million people who are economically active). This includes part-time workers (26.4 million) and underemployment (10.6 million).

Traditionally, the country's agriculture sector absorbs most Indonesian workers (40.8 million), followed by trade (25.8 million) and services (18.5 million).
