The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) will complete its investigation into the alleged fictitious trading of coal mining firm Sekawan Intipratama's shares later this week. Results will be presented to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The case led to the one-day suspension of trading activity of three Indonesian brokerages (Danareksa Sekuritas, Reliance Securities, and Millenium Danatama Sekuritas) on Wednesday 11 November on claims that they manipulated the miner's shares. Trading in shares of Sekawan Intipratama has been suspended since 9 November after the firm's shares tumbled 64.68 percent in a two-week period.

Indonesia’s largest taxi operator Blue Bird has set a new (downsized) target for its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this month. The company now aims to raise IDR 2.4 trillion (USD $200 million), down from its initial target of IDR 4.94 trillion. Blue Bird will offer 376.5 million shares to the public, or 14.2 percent of its enlarged capital, at a price of IDR 6,500 per share (considerably lower than its previous indicative price of between IDR 7,200 and IDR 9,300).

Gold miner Archi Indonesia, a subsidiary of Rajawali Corpora, expects to collect USD $200 million through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) before the end of the year. The company will offer between 15 and 20 percent of its enlarged share capital to the public. It appointed two local securities firms, including Danareksa Sekuritas, and two foreign securities firms as underwriters. Mitrabara Adiperdana, an Indonesia-based coal miner, is planning to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in July 2014. The company will offer 273.03 million shares, or 22 percent of its enlarged share base, to the public at a price range of IDR 1,150 to IDR 1,350 per share. Through this corporate action, the miner targets to raise IDR 368.6 billion (USD $31 million). Reportedly, after the IPO, Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd has an option to purchase a 27.68 percent stake in the Indonesian coal miner.

Wijaya Karya Beton, better known as Wika Beton, set its share price at IDR 590 for the initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Previously, the company indicated an offering price target in the range of IDR 470 to IDR 630 per share. Blue Bird, the biggest taxi operator of Indonesia, aims to raise IDR 5 trillion (USD $450 million) through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which is expected to be conducted in November 2013. This would make it the largest Indonesian IPO since food producer Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur raised USD $696 million in 2010. Blue Bird allegedly appointed Credit Suisse, UBS and Danareksa Sekuritas to act as underwriters. It has been speculated that the company will sell 20 to 40 percent of its stock equity.

PT Semen Baturaja Tbk, a state-owned cement producer, will offer 20 to 35 percent of its equity to the public when it conducts its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in June or July 2013. Adaro Energy, one of Indonesia's leading coal mining companies, is still plagued by the globe's weak coal prices. However, the company's estimated lower cash and operational costs give a positive boost to the miner's corporate earnings this year. According to Danareksa Sekuritas' estimates the cost of mining for Adaro Energy (outside royalty payments) will range between USD $26 - $28 per ton in 2016, slightly down from USD $28 per ton last year. Meanwhile, the miner's stripping ratio is expected to decline to 4.7x in 2016 (from 5.2x last year).
