IPO Anabatic Technologies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
Indonesian information technology solutions provider Anabatic Technologies, became the 10th company to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015. By selling 375 million shares, or 20 percent of the company’s enlarged capital, Anabatic Technologies raised IDR 262.5 billion (USD $19.5 million). In the initial public offering (IPO) 10 percent of the company’s shares were bought by Japanese IT solutions provider TIS. Through this partnership, Anabatic expects to expand its business outside Indonesia.
Tokyo-based TIS, a subsidiary of IT Holdings Corporation, provides various IT solutions (including system integration services, custom-developed systems, data centers, and cloud services) and has a vast global support system mainly in China and ASEAN countries. The company partners with over 3,000 companies in a range of sectors, from finance to communication. As such, the partnership of Anabatic Technologies and TIS will enable to former to expand further into East Asian markets. Adriansyah Adnan, Senior Director at Anabatic Technologies, aims to increase revenue growth in its international branches to 20 percent in the next five to six years (from 5 percent currently). Anabatic Technologies already has offices in the Philippines, Singapore and India but is now in the process of acquiring two Malaysian companies, partly financed by funds generated through the IPO. These deals should be closed by September 2015.
Anabatic Technologies President Director Handojo Sutjipto said he was content with the company’s debut on the IDX on Wednesday (08/07). Shares of the company (traded under IDX code ATIC) rose 11.5 percent despite severe negative market sentiments. On Wednesday the benchmark Jakarta Composite Index fell 0.70 percent due to various concerns: the dramatic fall of Chinese shares, turmoil in the Eurozone (Greek debt crisis) and the World Bank’s downward revision of Indonesia’s 2015 economic growth forecast.

Around 50 percent of funds generated in the IPO will be used for business expansion and capital expenditure (capex), 30 percent for debt refinancing and the remaining 20 percent for working capital. Bahana Securities was appointed as underwriter for the IPO.
In 2014 the company’s net income rose 8.1 percent (y/y) to IDR 81 billion (approx. USD $6.1 million). Meanwhile, revenues grew 3.6 percent (y/y) to IDR 2.57 trillion (approx. USD $193 million) over the same period.
