Between 19-23 July 2017 the Indonesia Fashion & Craft 2017 is held in the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). Here you can see a variety of the latest fashion products from Indonesia, including traditional ethnic-patterned batik and modern accessories, as well as craft such as wooden handicrafts, bamboo, rattan, metal, pottery, marble, ceramics, furniture and more. Entrance is free of charge.
Green Habit, Inspiring People to Care About the Ecosystem
Between 21-23 July 2017 the "Green Habit, Inspiring People to Care About the Ecosystem" event is held on Pari Island, part of Kepulauan Seribu (Thousand Islands), off the coast of Jakarta. This event is for nature-lovers and those who support the sustainability of the environment. Activities include the planting of mangrove trees and seaweed, snorkeling, dining and barbecuing. It costs IDR 300,000 (approx. USD $22.5) per person (a price that includes accommodation on the island.
Indonesia Kita
Between 21-22 July 2017 the Indonesia Kita (Our Indonesia) event is held at Graha Bhakti Budaya in Taman Ismail Marzuki (Central Jakarta) where theater plays are performed by well-known local artists Happy Salma (actress, model, writer and businesswoman), Cak Lontong (comedian) and Inayah Wahid (artist and youngest daughter of former Indonesian president Abdurrahman Wahid).
