  • Bank Dinar Indonesia Sets Share Price for IPO on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Bank Dinar Indonesia announced to set its share price at IDR 110 per share at the initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The company hopes to raise IDR 55 billion (USD $4.6 million) by offering 500 million new shares, or 22.22 percent of its enlarged capital, to the public. Approximately 75 percent of the proceeds will be used for credit disbursement expansion, while the remainder will be used to finance the establishment of nine new offices.   • Fitch Ratings: Slower Growth in Indonesia's Property Sector

    Fitch Ratings, the global rating agency, expects slower growth in Indonesia's property sector for the next 12 months. However, for the longer term, the institution still maintains a positive outlook as Indonesia is characterized by high urbanization, a rapidly expanding middle class and low mortgage rates. Since the revival in 2011, the average selling price of Indonesia's residential properties increased by about 30 percent year-on-year, particularly in the Greater Jakarta area.

    Alam Sutera Realty (ASRI) is an Indonesian real estate company that develops and manages a large-scale township which includes residential and commercial properties as well as ancillary facilities and infrastructure. The company has large real estate projects in Serpong, Cibitung, Cianjur (all on Java), Tanjung Pinang (Riau) and Sanur (Bali). In the first half of 2013, the company's profits increased by 52 percent to IDR 800 billion (USD $80.0 million) as Indonesia's property sector has been booming.
